Introduction

Established in 1996 by veteran New York City-based DJ Nick Jones, Imani Records is an independent dance music label created as a vehicle to showcase original productions and exclusive remixes by Nick Jones as well as a springboard for new and established dance music talent. Label head Nick Jones has over 40 years of experience in the music industry.

Nick Jones is known as one of the founding DJs at the legendary NYC Party Wild Pitch, traveling the globe as a DJ spreading love through his magical DJ sets. Nick has produced and remixed music for King Street Sounds, Maxi Records, Wave Music, Massive B, and Shelter Records and is now focused on primarily releasing music exclusively on Imani Records.

We collaborate with musicians, vocalists, and other creatives who share our vision of positivity and success. Our mission and goal have always been to create timeless music you can play and dance to at the club, sit at home relaxing, or take a long drive and enjoy the grooves. We strive for perfection in everything we do and will continue to create beautiful, thought-provoking music.
